Wow! This bottle is 116.73 proof! And you taste all of it right away! The nose has a nice hint of oak and flowers. That first sip neat lets you know you're alive! I put in about 5 drops of water to calm it down a bit, which opened up the nose. It's still very direct on the tongue, so I added a small bite of chocolate to see what happened... honestly, it didn't change much. Still a bit rough. I'll work with this one as a sipping bourbon to see if it calms down... I want to enjoy it for some reason...
