About this bottle

The initial release in the Avant-Garde collection from Courvoisier, this limited edition spirit began as VS cognac. Master blender Patrice Pinet and master distiller Benoît DeSutter then matured it further in used Kentucky bourbon barrels. Because cognac regulations permit only wine or fortified wine barrels, this product cannot be labeled as cognac. It is bottled at 80 proof.
