Venus Spirits, founded by Sean Venus in 2012, is the distillery where El Ladrón (the thief) Agave Spirit is produced in Santa Cruz, California. The agave juice is sourced from Guadalajara, from agaves grown in the highlands of Jalisco. This juice is then fermented, distilled, and bottled at Venus Spirits. The spirit rests in stainless steel before bottling and has a proof of 94.
