About this bottle

First introduced in Denmark in 1964, Gammel Dansk Bitter, meaning “Old Danish,” is a spiced bitter liqueur. It contains 29 ingredients, including star anise, cinnamon, orange, and gooseberries, and is often consumed neat during holiday toasts in the winter.

Better with age. After visiting Tannishus and having some beers, it just kept improving over the years. Lovely alongside an ice-cold beer
