The Cask Strength range from Highland Park, introduced in 2020, is a consistent core offering from the brand, with each bottling exhibiting minor production differences. Master Whisky Maker Gordon Motion crafted this fifth batch, which was primarily matured in first-fill sherry seasoned European oak casks, complemented by Pedro Ximenez sherry casks. Batch No. 5, bottled at 64.7% ABV without chill-filtration or added color, was released in the US in June 2024, with a suggested retail price of $100.
