This is a review of the 12 year Highland Queen Majesty single malt. Nose: The aroma is very mild, with hardly anything noticeable. Taste: Notes of barley and cereal grains, it's quite diluted and light, but has a slight sweetness. Possibly the smoothest and most uninteresting spirit I've ever encountered. Not particularly thrilling or pleasing.
Yellow gold color. Scoring: Nose 17, Palate 16, Finish 15, Balance 16. An adequate and somewhat edgy whiskey. Some fruit aromas mixed with chemical notes. The taste is quite harsh with prominent alcohol. I have no desire to try it again or even a higher tier product.
