About this bottle

Released in 2005, this special edition whiskey honors the Star of Excellence Award presented to Jack Daniel's in 1954. It represents the sixth release in the Jack Daniel's Gold Medal Series, which ran from 1996 to 2006, and was bottled at 90 proof.

For the price, it's truly worth it. In Canada, it costs less than the single barrel and is genuinely superior.
