Lhéraud's cognacs with age statements are essentially vintage cognacs. Each cuvée is a selection of barrels from a single year, prioritizing distinctiveness and clarity over the uniformity achieved by blending multiple vintages. The distillery's younger selections include spirit that spends its initial years in new oak before being moved to older barrels for the remainder of its maturation.
