Longmorn 23 Year

The nose is beautiful, featuring honey, fruit cake, chocolate, and butterscotch. The palate matched the nose and finished strongly with vanilla and pepper. And the 48% ABV provides a good kick. I loved it and regret not having more time to savor the dram.

Nose: It is indeed a Speyside. Some caramel, fresh. Palate: It's good, I wouldn't guess the 48% ABV; notes of orange, sweet, and very smooth. Enjoyable spirit.

Smoky aftertaste. Initially a stronger alcohol burn, though sweet with underlying oaky vanilla notes.
