About this bottle
This limited American single malt bottling is produced from 100% peated Scottish malted barley, consistent with the flagship McCarthy's Single Malt. However, it is aged for six years in Oregon oak, double the duration of the original. Subsequently, it spends four months in barrels specifically seasoned and selected by Hood River Distillers Master Distiller Joe O'Sullivan and Head Distiller Caitlin Bartlemay. The whiskey is bottled at cask strength, 56.1% ABV, and was available starting October 2022 in OR, NY, CO, TX, WA, and CA ($149.99).
