About this bottle
Mezcal de las Hormigas, an extension of Espíritu Lauro, maintains the same commitment to natural production methods. It is made without added sugars and ferments without the use of yeast. This mezcal consists of 100% espadín agave, cultivated near the distillery and its neighbor, harvested at 6-7 years old, and is distilled only once. Notably, the donkeys used for the agave milling are father and son and reportedly argue frequently.
