This crisp Shochu from the Munemasa Distillery in Arita, Japan, is crafted using a mix of 95% rice and 5% organic lemongrass based on an old recipe, bottled at 35% ABV. It opens aromatically with rice and lemongrass notes, followed by delicate hints of Meyer lemon, peach, and pear, concluding with a swift, dry finish of more citrus. November 2021 / January 2022
