About this bottle

The Rey Campero line, produced in Candelaria Yegolé, Oaxaca, is primarily made from wild agaves harvested and distilled by master mezcalero Rómulo Sánchez Parada. This tobalá expression is crafted from 100% agave potatorum, which matures over 13 years and grows at an elevation of 5600 feet. The agave is roasted in earthen pits, ground using stone, fermented in wood casks with natural yeasts, and finally distilled in a copper alembic still.
