Aroma: Cocoa, grain, and sweetness. Taste: Wood, vanilla, typical wheat qualities, with a lively, agreeable woody essence. The malt is also detectable. The finish offers a spicy sweetness. General: I'm a big fan of this bourbon. It's remarkably distinctive. The prominent wheat and malt elements harmonize with the spirit. The character is approachable and invigorating, yet intricate.
Excellent served over ice. I was surprised by some of the low ratings. Purchased at the party source in Cincinnati. Recommended by a staff member there. This is a fantastic bourbon. Slightly spicy on the lips but smooth and very easy to drink.
