Devil's Own rums are created through a double distillation process in a reflux still, with an optional double column, using American blackstrap and cane sugar. The spirit receives a hand-bottled, labeled, and wax-sealed finish.

I found that this beverage was more palatable when served warm compared to cold. I typically store spirits in the freezer, but for reasons unknown, this tasted like a cleaning solvent when chilled. However, at room temperature, it resembled a standard rum but with a more pronounced alcohol presence. I personally do not recommend this and will not be purchasing it again.
